Colour Testing

Importing the images in Premier change the speed and duration of the images to 00:00:00:05 for the images to flow together. I've been testing the footage in after effects trying to give it a distinctive colour. At the moment of given it a yellow tint.

This one I gave the animation a faded look but while still keeping some colour.

I tried out draining all the colour from the animation and just leaving the yellow and red. I feel that it looks great for the animation and that it fits well and looks a lot better than any of the previous edits and I will use this edit for the final animation.

Animation Progression

I started off with doing the plot of the story for the animation, I had a idea of how they set was going to look like so I started to build the set. After the set was done I went back and finished the storyboard and script.

So far in the animation Ive finished the first scene and Ive started on the second scene. Ive done 42 seconds of the animation so far and I'm really surprised because I thought i had done less.

Above is a short bit of what I've done already for the animation. It flows together nicely and I think works well, but one thing that I might change is make the intro of Frank walking a bit faster.

Animation Tests

I tried the animation at 0.15 seconds in windows movie maker. It flows together but is a bit too fast for dialogue purposes.

I tried the animation at 0.18 seconds. It flows together well and allows for the dialogue to fit in nicely and it allows the animation to smooth and flow. Out of the three frame rates of used this is the best one and fits the animation.

I tried having the animation at 0.24 seconds in windows movie maker. It doesn't really flow together at 0.24 seconds is slow, clunky and not very smooth.
